ZatpatBill ("we", "our", "the app") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it when you use the ZatpatBill application.

1. Information We Collect

ZatpatBill collects the following information to operate your business billing operations:

Phone Number: Used for authentication via Firebase Phone OTP login
Shop Details: Shop name, address, GSTIN, and UPI ID, entered by you during onboarding
Product Data: Product names, prices, barcodes, and stock quantities
Bill/Transaction Data: Items sold, amounts, GST, discounts, and payment methods
Customer Data (Optional): Customer name and phone number, if you choose to add them while creating a bill
Subscription Status: Your plan type (Free/Pro) and monthly bill usage count

2. Where Your Data Is Stored

Local Storage: Your products, bills, customers, and shop details are stored locally on your device using a local database (Hive). This data remains on your device and is accessible even without an internet connection.

Cloud Storage: Only your phone number and subscription status (Free/Pro plan) are securely stored on Google Firebase (Firestore), so that your subscription status can be tracked and synced.

3. Third-Party Services

ZatpatBill uses the following third-party services:

Google Firebase: For phone number authentication (OTP login) and subscription data sync
Google Play Services: For app distribution and updates

4. How We Use Your Data

To operate the core features of the app (billing, inventory, reports)
To authenticate your login
To verify your subscription plan (Free/Pro)
To improve the app (crash reports, bug fixes)

We never sell your data to third parties or use it for advertising purposes.

5. Data Security

Your data is stored securely. Local data is accessible only on your device. Cloud data (phone number, subscription status) is protected through Firebase's industry-standard security measures.

6. Your Rights

Data Access: You can view all your data within the app (Bill History, Products, Customers)
Data Deletion: You can delete local data by uninstalling the app. To delete cloud data, please contact support@zatpatbill.com
Data Portability: Bills can be exported and shared in PDF format

7. Children's Privacy

ZatpatBill is designed for business owners and shopkeepers. This app is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of any significant changes through the app.
